Every evening, somewhere in the world, there is a lady in red descending a staircase or a lady with a bugle singing the music and lyrics of Jerry Herman, one of Broadway’s greatest tunesmiths and lyricists. From HELLO, DOLLY!’s Dolly Levi To MAME’s Mame Dennis, Herman’s music defines the greatest leading ladies of the Broadway stage. What better way to celebrate these world famous divas than to have our own DALLAS DIVAS! salute them. For the first time, the DALLAS DIVAS! will be performing a Broadway show, JERRY’S GIRLS, a tunefilled evening saluting the music and lyrics of Jerry Herman.

Lyric Stage Founding Producer Steven Jones has assembled some of North Texas’ finest leading ladies for the eleventh edition of this highly anticipated annual event. The 2007 Divas include Laurie Buluaro, Julie Johnson, Ada Lynn, Kristi Rowan, Sally Soldo, Eleanor Threatt and Jodi Crawford Wright. Dallas’ Diva of Directors, Cheryl Denson, will stage the glamorous evening. Gary Okeson will conduct The Irving Symphony Orchestra.

The DALLAS DIVAS! will be together for two performances only, Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10 @ 8:00 PM in the Irving Arts Center’s Carpenter Performance Hall, 3333 N.
