FALL 2011 CLASS SCHEDULE

Imagination Explosion!
Creative Drama
Ages 6-8 (must be in 1st grade to enroll in this class)
Wednesdays – 5:00pm – 6:25pm
Tuition: $325
Get ready for some fun in creative drama! The development of your child’s imagination and learning to focus creativity is the goal of this high energy class. Your child will learn about theatre and performance through the use of games, creative play, story re-creation and related art projects.

All The World’s A Stage
Acting
Ages 9-12
Thursdays – 5:00pm – 6:25pm
Tuition: $325
Students will learn about the art of acting by becoming familiar with the environment and tools of the actor. The focus of this fast-paced class is learning to use the tools of the actor, creating a sense of ensemble, teaching theatre etiquette, and imparting general theatrical knowledge. Students will understand the importance of trust and team building to foster a successful performance.

Acting Up!
Acting for Teens
Ages 13 – 17
Tuesdays – 5:00pm to 6:25pm
Tuition: $325
This great class will have a variety of facets for the teen actor to explore. Students will further develop acting skills by applying elements of the actor’s art/craft through scene study, improvisation and character study. Teen actors will learn an approach to acting using a combination of textual analysis and creative exploration. This is an excellent class to supplement middle or high school drama classes.

Classes begin September 20 and run through December 15. There are no classes the week of Thanksgiving (November 21-25).
