  • WELCOME BACK

On behalf of myself, our Producer Catherine Carpenter Cox, and Lyric Stage Founder Steven Jones, I want to welcome you back to Dallas’ historic Majestic Theatre! It has been a difficult rode for all of us to get to this point, but after a long, 20-month hiatus, we are finally able to meet again under the warm glow of the stage lights of this beautiful theatre, and know this is only the very beginning of a great renaissance for the arts and live theatre.

Catherine and I are thrilled to celebrate Lyric Stage’s 28 years of developing and preserving the musical by bringing THE BEST OF BROADWAY to you live, and in-person, as we celebrate 100 years of music from 28 of Broadway’s most beloved shows, all live and on stage at the 100-year old Majestic Theatre. We are so grateful to you for being here, and are equally grateful to this incredible cast of singers, musicians, technicians, and artists, who have made it possible to not only give voice to this wonderful of evening of music, but who have also helped us bring art back to life. We thank you for friendship, your patience, and your support in helping us get back to producing live theatre, and we can’t wait to share the music and stories of the other great titles in our 2021/2022 Season, as Lyric Stage is officially: BACK WITH THE BEST.
